If so, Georgia-Pacific is now hiring Machine Operator for Machine Operating at our Kansas City, MO corrugated packaging facility! Our Machine Operator Trainee’s work any shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy non-climate controlled industrial environment. Our current openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift. Job Responsibilities: Conducting required quality checks on products to ensure customer satisfaction Working throughout the facility in various areas learning to operate production equipment Performing assigned tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to (12) twelve hours a day Supporting our safe working environment by wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),i.e.; bump hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, hearing protection, steel-toe boots and other PPE required by specific jobs Managing job assignments and working with the team to meet quality goals Keeping work area clean throughout shifts and performing tasks that may change from day to day or hour to hour Assisting crew members with set-ups, troubleshooting and making minor machine adjustments Qualification & Experience: Experience working in the corrugated industry Six (6) months or more of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, warehouse environment or military service Experience with preventive or predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Six (6) months or more of continuous work experience OR High School Diploma/GED Experience operating a motorized forklift or clamp truck Job Details: Company: Georgia Pacific Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kansas City, MO, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
