Job Description: The Import Representative Support Accounting Assistant 2 is responsible for delivering a set of specialized services to achieve department goals. This role supports the payment functions for Nordstrom imported merchandise into the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, curiosity and the ability to collaborate with co-workers to meet department responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: Execute wire transfers in multiple currencies for accurate and timely payment to suppliers, and buying agents Enter invoice data for payment with a high level of accuracy Assist in reconciliation of invoices against merchandise receipts Review documents to mitigate cost discrepancies and confirm value declared equals value paid Assist with any ad hoc reporting or projects as business requires Notate anomalies and escalate to the appropriate parties for resolution Ensure all invoices meet cross-functional internal requirements for payment and Customs clearance Job Requirements: Able to review practices and procedures, determine whether improvements can be made and support changes as appropriate Detail oriented Execute business processes and procedures according to best practices to support the department Able to resolve problems Able to work independently as well as collaboratively Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills Able to provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative Meets deadlines Qualification & Experience: 0-2 years of equivalent training and job-related experience preferred High school diploma/GED required Proficiency in MS Office suite, with an emphasis on excel Passing score on the Financial Math Test Proficiency in 10-key Job Details: Company: Nordstrom Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Seattle, WA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
