Job Description: Operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to the following: tractor, fork truck, refuse compactor, cardboard baler, wheel loader and composting equipment Job Responsibilities: Perform duties for the compost and hazardous waste operation Provide the park with empty dumpsters by collecting and emptying dumpsters at the compactor site following a daily schedule Follow all safety procedures and requirements performing your duties Work closely with other refuse operators to create and support a team environment Job Requirements: Have good communication skills and the ability to get along with others Be at least 18 years of age Be willing to learn how to operate refuse and recycling equipment Have valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelines Qualification & Experience: Have good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects Bend, reach, twist and turn with flexibility, able to climb stairs Be able to work and stand for long periods of time Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
