Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a Costume Designer for our up and coming 2025 season at the UK’s favourite theme park; the awesome Thorpe Park Resort. Job Responsibilities: Utilizing existing costumes to create new and bespoke character costumes across the attractions Bringing to life the vision of the creative against a clear set criteria Responding creatively to event briefs in line with brand guidelines Collaborating closely with the Entertainments Performance Manager to ensure costumes are fit for purpose and that they engage with the characters Working with the Costume and Wardrobe Manager to create templates, designs and order requests within the event & production budget. Designing costumes in line with a clear concept briefs Job Requirements: Confidently use an overlocker and industrial sewing machines Pattern cutting and strong sewing skills Qualification & Experience: Dressing, maintenance, and repair making Laundry and basic cleaning skills The ability to work with a wide range of fabrics.
