Job Description: Responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest experience and financial profitability. Job Responsibilities: Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention Assist in start-up, shut-down and operation of all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to correct temperature conditions and to make adjustments Maintain, monitor, repair, conduct routine preventive maintenance and non-scheduled maintenance of all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment including, but not limited to, replacing mechanical seals, re-packing pumps and valves, replacing bearings and bets, checking for proper alignment, repairing fan coil units, brazing and soldering, calibrating controls, working on pressure vessels, replacing piping and fittings Conduct visual inspections of gauges, dials and mechanical equipment Job Requirements: High School Diploma, High SchoolCertificate of Completion, or G.E.D. 4 years of vocational training in HVAC or equivalent experience Qualification & Experience: Ability to read, interpret and apply technical information from manuals, drawings, blue prints, and schematics Ability to track and log assignments through a shop log or work order system Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and lifts Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions Ability to work as part of the team and take on other maintenance work as needed Ability to communicate effectively in the English language Ability to work with corrosive and toxic chemicals Ability to work in confined spaces Ability to operate power tools Ability to walk, stand, stoop, reach, crouch, bend, and kneel Job Details: Company: LEGOLAND Florida Resort Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Carlsbad, CA, United States Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
