An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Disney Financial Systems team based in London, UK. Job Responsibilities: Participates in training development and provides end user training Works with EMEA Process Leads to determine technical feasibility and priority / impact. Applies knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles to our systems and business processes Supports end users and responds to issues (data or process); Takes appropriate action to research, troubleshoot and resolve issues Performs enhancement testing and participate in major system release testing as required. Facilitates requirements gathering sessions Supports the governance and monitoring of finance system compliance in accordance with company policies & standards as well as local statutory and SOX requirements Assists in preparing enhancement documentation as required. Keeps abreast of technology and solutions for key finance processes and business analytics Works with the client groups to identify system enhancement requirements and opportunities for process improvement. Job Requirements: Experience in service delivery in a high performing customer service and support organization with demonstrated expertise in reporting and analyzing metrics to support continuous improvement in service levels Experience in achievement of specified tasks and solving problems of moderate complexity with minimal guidance within service level agreement (SLA) parameters, while providing a positive experience for customers Demonstrated technical proficiency in managing projects of smaller scale, budget and risk and implementing change initiatives as a technical expert within a specified product or process area Qualification & Experience: Experience in using SAP or another ERP Ability to work within a matrix organization Experience implementing financial processes and systems Experience in using Business Warehouse, Business Objects and/or Cognos reporting tools Experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) Experience delivering training to end users Understands business processes and is able to develop and assist in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions. Experience developing and delivering end user training Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
