Job Description: The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is hiring a Conservation Camp Assistant (CCA) to work with its on-site summer camp programs facilitated out of the Bronx Zoo in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to explore education at an informal science institution. You will work part-time in the WCS Education Department. You will report to work on-site at the Bronx Zoo. Job Responsibilities: Set up and break down of camper check-in and pick-up stations (this includes setting up tables and signage). Follow and reinforce WCS COVID-19 Safety Procedures, including wearing masks and sanitizing after activities. Assist education staff in shuttling children to and from locations with the Bronx Zoo. Facilitate camper check-in and pick-up with education staff. Assist in packet assembly for mail delivery of materials for online programing. Work on-site at the Bronx Zoo. This is not a remote work opportunity. Communicate with caregivers (phone or email) to arrange alternative pick-up or drop off times.
