Job Description: Responsible for overseeing and directing the efforts of the kitchen complex, following all TGIF franchise brand standards. Supervises all employees throughout the shift. Job Responsibilities: Manages employee performance, utlizing all tools including training, coaching, counseling and discipline. Schedules all department personnel to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained within budgetary guidelines. Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment. Controls quality and quantity of products through ordering, inventory, and spot inspections. Ensures staff compliance with all local, state, and federal laws including all Health Department standards. Communicates deparment status to manager daily, including operational issues, employee and guest concerns, specialrequests, losses, and any other unusual situations. Other duties may be assigned. Implements established safety, security and loss prevention policies and procedures. Job Requirements: 1 ‑ 2 Years Related Experience in Restaurant Management At Least 21 Years of Age High School Diploma or GED Qualification & Experience: Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and procedures. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Basic computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
