Job Description: Kings Dominion is hiring fulltime, year round Food and Beverage Associates in Doswell, Virginia. This position comes with a starting wage of $16.00 an hour, generous benefit package, paid training and the opportunity to learn and grow with a great organization. Job Responsibilities: Notify kitchen personnel of shortages or special orders. Greet, answer questions, ensure quality service, and resolve complaints for guests. Take proper payment and make change for food and beverage items using a cash register. Cook and prepare food items to food safety standards. Take and complete food and beverage orders from guests. Use hot water heater or coffee maker to make and serve hot drinks. Assists with training for Seasonal Associates Use soda fountains to serve cold drinks and to make milkshakes and frozen desserts. Job Requirements: Ability to pass a servsafe certification class & servesafe alcohol certification class. Minimum 2 years food service experience Minimum: 18 years old Open availability to fill a rotating 40 hour schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays. Qualification & Experience: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
