Job Description: As a Cook, you’ll prepare high quality food that meets SeaWorld standards by following menu specifications. You will follow all safety and HACCP guidelines, use proper protective gear, and test food temperatures Job Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness, organization, sanitation and safety and assigned kitchen and food prep work areas Ensure highest standards of food quality and product presentation through menu adherence Perform other duties as assigned Assist guest with allergen requests as needed*Maintain product and supply stocks of assigned kitchen / food prep / work space locations which includes large walk in coolers and freezers Ensure proper portion and recipe execution through use of established tools Engage with ambassadors and guests alike with the highest levels of service excellence Execute food preparation and cooking of raw vegetables, proteins, sauces and other which can include use of smokers, grills, wok stations, steam kettles and large bakery style mixing equipment Job Requirements: At least 18 years of age At least two years of cooking experience or a combination of cooking experience and culinary arts school A diverse background of QSR, full service restaurant, high volume, multi-unit operations preferred Basic knife skills Ability to work with all food types, including food allergens, in any dining facility Ability to pass SafeStaff training and RCS Responsible Vendor Training (alcohol) Qualification & Experience: Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 55 lbs.
