As a HVAC Technician, you’ll provide a high level of technical, electrical, and mechanical expertise to ensure our guests enjoy a thrilling, comfortable – and safe experience. Job Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair and replace park equipment, including HVAC units, appliances, various kitchen equipment. Maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals for each device Uphold all department safety standards Communicate any HVAC related questions/concerns to leadership Maintain proficiency in manufacturing manuals related to Park HVAC equipment Perform daily cleaning and maintenance duties, including care of tools Train in general system operations and functions, as well as procedures and routines Provide exceptional service to guests and team members Complete all required documentation Perform general maintenance duties to provide a safe environment for guests and team members alike Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests Complete all scheduled preventive HVAC maintenance Job Requirements: At least 18 years of age Flexibility to perform varied duties Ability to diagnose, repair, replace and maintain various types of HVAC units High school diploma or GED equivalent required A valid driver’s license Ability to provide and use basic hand tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualification & Experience: Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work at heights up to 100 ft. Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Technical trade school or equivalent experience with an emphasis on HVAC/ Refrigeration Working knowledge of basic electrical controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems At least 2 years of practical HVAC/Refrigeration experience or combination of HVAC/ Refrigeration experience & trade school experience Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
