Job Description: The Runner is a team member classified based on individual location needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part- time regular or a full-time hourly employee whose main responsibility is to provide superior guest service in a clean, maintained and comfortable environment. If the theatre sells alcohol and your assigned duties will include the serving of alcohol, you must be of legal age with all applicable training, permits and licenses to serve alcohol per to state or local laws. Job Responsibilities: Regular and consistent attendance Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner Assist with setting tables Knowledge of proper operation and cleaning of all related equipment Ensure timely communication with all guests Collaborate with servers to ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned and waiting for the next guest Check guests' identification to confirm they meet the legal drinking age if alcoholic beverages were ordered Proper use of all related storerooms Knowledge and compliance with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards. Adhere and maintain all Health Department rules and regulations Remain knowledgeable on all food and beverage menu items, including specials and promotions, and Regal Crown Club Ensure guests are served in a timely and professional manner in accordance with REG standards Responsible for accurate handling of delivery receipts and inventory Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Expedite food orders as needed Ensure flatware is clean and available Qualification & Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist or progress towards completion required. Completed the Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University. Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems.
