Job Description: You will serve as a Computer Engineer in the Flight Software Branch, an organizational element of the Research and Engineering Directorate at Glenn Research Center (GRC). Job Responsibilities: Apply sound software development processes and procedures to complex computer-based systems. Works alongside other computer engineers to incorporate new technologies and improve the efficiency of networking software. Design, develop, document, and test networking software. Task planning, cost and schedule determination, project management. Duties described below are at the full-performance level. Duties assigned at a lower grade level will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Configure, and maintain software management, development, and testing tools.
