Job Description: Health Program Managers provide administrative direction for programs related to maternal, child and family health, nutrition, disease control, or other health programs. Health Program Manager II's supervise both supervisory and professional staff engaged in provision of health-related services and are responsible for long range, broad-based planning and policy development for a statewide program. Job Responsibilities: The Division of Child and Family Services is recruiting for a Health Program Manager II. This position can be located in either in Reno or Las Vegas. This position will be responsible for long range, broad-based planning and policy development of the statewide System of Care implementation which includes multiple child-serving health-related services and programs for at-risk children and youth. Responsibilities will include supervision, evaluation, and management of statewide Health Program Manager I position(s). This position will be responsible for task assignment and oversight of the completion of tasks to move the System of Care (SOC) strategic and communication plans forward and fulfill the goals/objectives of the strategic plan. This position will coordinate the implementation of evidence-based/informed health related services and supports, including assisting with the development of policies and procedures for statewide health related programs. Of the two years of experience, one year must have included supervision of professional staff; OR one year of experience as a Health Program Manager I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
