Job Description: Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a cardiac electrophysiology physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the team working at our PHI offices and hospitals within 45 minutes of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a full time position working 4 - 10 hour shifts with no night shifts. Job Responsibilities: Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered Manage patient care from an inpatient and outpatient setting Complete admissions, consultations and discharges when appropriate Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers on a collaborative team Holiday calls and weekend shifts required Qualification & Experience: 1-2 years of electrophysiology experience preferred Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing Minimum 2-3 years of general cardiology experience needed and familiarity with implantable pacemakers and defibrillators is a plus.
