Job Description: As a part-time Sylvan Instructor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1 setting. Sylvan teachers work at our learning centers, so there is no driving around or scheduling of clients required. We are open weekdays in the afternoon and evening and on Saturday mornings. Our teachers work regular, flexible shifts and the hours are plentiful. All the prep work and lesson planning is completed by our full-time Directors and all your materials are provided. You teach, do your magic in a fun and caring environment, and then go home knowing that you’ve helped transform students’ lives. Sylvan is an awesome place to work! We are currently hiring for in-center instructors, so you must be comfortable coming in to work at our learning center. We are, of course, following strict safety protocols that comply with CDC guidelines, including temperature checks, mask requirements, appropriate social distancing and sanitizing.
