Job Description: The Business Analyst is a hourly position that functions as a liaison with management, analysts, and IT staff. The Analyst assists in the development of project specifications and implementation plans for Life Operation projects. Job Responsibilities: Develops objectives for problem solutions Develops operational workflow to understand current and future state of a business process or system Performs background analysis of problem Coordinate, manage and execute projects and other tasks for Life Operations Identifies possible solutions with appropriate personnel Research, analyze and resolve departmental system issues and concerns Performs post-implementation follow up to ensure accuracy and resolution of problems identified in project proposal Develops project specifications, requirements and user stories in Version one or Jira Coordinates supporting documentation for sprint planning and refinement Reviews operational workflows for continuity with U.S. operations Job Requirements: Working knowledge of QMF or SQL and database structures Strong analytical aptitude Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Teams, Visio, and PowerPoint Test Script writing and use of Test Rail experience a plus Agile & Version One experience a plus Ability to work independently while understanding when to seek advice Ability to communicate within and across diverse project teams Self-motivated with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment Knowledge of application design and software development methodologies Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity and handle multiple and changing priorities simultaneously Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills Qualification & Experience: 2 years’ service as Business Systems Analyst or equivalent business and technical experience Ability to work overtime as needed Excellent verbal and written communications skills 3–5 years’ analysis, quality control, and information systems experience Strong communication skills including presentations Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, or related field preferred, not required 3-5 years QA, BA or Project Management Experience preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience Job Details: Company: Primerica Vacancy Type: Part Time Job Location: New York, NY, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
