Job Responsibilities: Be accountable for both the sale and delivery of third-party assurance engagements over Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) information in both voluntary and regulated disclosure such as annual sustainability reports and provincially regulated greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting. Working in a team environment, lead projects to assist clients in their efforts to accurately and completely disclose quantitative and qualitative ESG performance information. Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed. Stay current on and be accountable for team knowledge of the various ESG disclosure standards and frameworks against which assurance is conducted, for example the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the GHG Protocol, the World Gold Council Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs), Mining Association of Canada Toward Sustainable Mining (TSM), regulatory GHG reporting standards and many others. Be comfortable serving clients across industries including financial services, mining, real estate and many others.
