Job Description: The EMEA Fixed Income Core Portfolio Management (CorePM) team has responsibility for managing Blackrock’s Fixed Income portfolios in EMEA (700+ accounts, $500+bn AUM), covering a wide variety of investment styles (Systematic Active, Fundamental Active, Indexed and Smart Beta) and product types (Mutual funds, Institutional pooled funds, Exchange traded funds, Segregated accounts and Hedge Funds). The team is responsible for ensuring that the portfolios meet their investment objectives and are managed in a consistent and risk-controlled manner. Job Responsibilities: Help drive team’s ESG efforts from a Credit perspective. Daily investment of portfolios client cash flows/custom baskets in a risk-controlled manner across the book of business. Responsible for managing IG Credit & Emerging Market (External) portfolios across ETF, Index Mutual Funds and Segregated accounts. Working with partner teams to be on top of risk and performance metrics. Partner with iShares and Product Strategy to build the IG Credit & Emerging Markets business both in terms of growing the existing book and contributing towards new client pitches. Managing large index events, rebalances and corporate actions in a risk-controlled way. Implementing and sizing new issues in a pragmatic manner across the book of business. Working in the Indexed Fixed Income Credit team in EMEA. This is a book of 80+ portfolios and ~$140bn in AUM. Managing fund transitions and transfers, working closely with BlackRock’s Trading team to ensure optimal execution. Ensure that all portfolios are managed to the highest fiduciary standards within their tracking error targets. Job Requirements: Sound judgment, professionalism and discretion Strong interpersonal skills are a must as will have to deal with several internal teams such as Architecture, Capital Markets, Sales, Product Strategy, Risk and Quantitative Analysis etc. Coding experience strongly preferred, especially in Python Impeccable attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated planning and organization skills and the proven ability to work efficiently under pressure. Ability to work with challenging situations in a mature manner Successful experience working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; drive to succeed Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills Qualification & Experience: Strong risk management awareness and ability to proactively manage credit portfolios At least 2-3 years professional work experience in a Fixed Income related role Experience in nuances of Fixed Income benchmarks Keen interest in financial markets.
