Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Job Responsibilities: Support physician and hospital based physician program management including setting national strategy guidelines, establishing target benchmarks, performance reporting and associated financial models Support large national hospital based physician negotiations including methodology development, unit cost management, language and other key process controls Collaborate with health care economics, regulatory and legal partners to formulate national strategies as well as individual contract strategies and performance based programs Advise and guide regions/markets on the deployment of local geographically competitive stable networks that achieve objectives for unit cost performance and trend management Provide expertise on implications of legislative impacts on strategies as it relates to client affordability and member experience Concisely communicate to leadership, program status including outlining complex issues and proposed solutions Develop and maintain controls and tools that capture updated and accurate information regarding the status of the national hospital based physician contracting portfolio This is an individual contributor position Job Requirements: In-depth knowledge of Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS) and other physician and anesthesiology industry payment methodologies Intermediate level target development and tracking skills Qualification & Experience: Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in a network management-related role, such as contracting or provider services 3+ years of experience in fee schedule development 3+ years of experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers Expertise level project management skills Experience managing relationships and negotiations with large complex physician groups Experience negotiating hospital based physician group agreements for payer or provider organization Job Details: Company: United HealthCare Vacancy Type: Temporary Job Functions: Customer Service Job Location: Tampa, Fl, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
