Job Description: The Director of Internal Communications will lead internal communications efforts, acting as a trusted advisor to teams and serving as an ambassador of H&M’s brand, vision and values. The ideal candidate is a skillful writer, strong communicator, and creative thinker that can seamlessly align communications programs to the evolving needs of the business. Job Responsibilities: Partner with Country Crisis Management team to build strategies around sensitive issues and promote transparency among teams Lead, develop and execute internal communications strategies for H&M’s US organization to engage employees and support local and global business needs Oversee priority business messaging, including change communications and leadership announcements, bringing clarity to complex ideas Identify opportunities to drive storytelling around H&M’s vision, values, culture and campaigns to inspire and motivate a workforce of over 15,000 employees globally Analyze tactics and experiment with new ideas to optimize employee engagement and modernize the function Partner closely with Human Resources team to build H&M’s employer brand Develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and leaders to provide support for key initiatives and advise on best-practices Job Requirements: Adept at measuring programs and gathering insights to continuously improve employee engagement across the company Enthusiastic team player that can work autonomously and partner well with others Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Attention to detail, organization and digital-savviness Creative thinker that can distill and present complex ideas in a compelling and visually interesting way Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff Strong communicator with ability to negotiate, persuade and counsel effectively Strategic planning, issues/crisis management and change communications experience Qualification & Experience: BS in Communications, Marketing or a related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven track record of managing effective communications programs within a large complex organization Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in human resource or corporate communications Job Details: Company: H&M Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Functions: Public Relation Job Location: New York, NY, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
