Job Description: We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Treasury Analyst - The job purpose is to operate key controls in the Back office team ensuring that Treasury team activities are conducted in a controlled manner and within mandated Treasury Policy. Key tasks include confirming derivatives, settlement of large, important payments and performing the daily bank reconciliation process. This role also looks after regulatory compliance tasks and the cash accounting from the Treasury Management System, and has the responsibility of recommending changes to current processes and systems to improve controls and productivity. Job Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and complete daily transaction postings for treasury related payments are entered into the general ledger Assists with the cash flow forecasting process by actualising forecasts and providing accurate opening cash positions. Ensure all derivative types are confirmed on a timely basis within SLA’s Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Bank Reconciliation process Assists in the maintenance of the dealing mandate Ensure all transactions made by front office are in line with the Treasury Policy Ensure collateral on tri-party repo is in line with the collateral basket Perform the EMIR derivative monthly reconciliation with counterparty banks Highlight and escalate control deficiencies or breaches Instruct all treasury related payments accurately and on time Assist the management of the issuance of bank guarantees and security deposits Ensure accuracy of payment information in Treasury Management System Liaise with counterparty banks to ensure all derivative settlement receipts are received to the correct amounts and on time Job Requirements: Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge whilst being able to build strong relationships internally Sound commercial judgement Strong Excel skills Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and capable of managing numerous work streams at the same time. Good organisational skills – structured approach. Strong attention to detail Enthusiasm with the ability to work well as part of a team and cover for other team members Ability to deliver - drive and energy to achieve objectives.
