Job Description: Our FPL Energy Services Business Unit is looking for a Principal Sales Engineer to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. This position will support our sales team in generating new business and acting as a subject matter expert in all product/service offerings. You will function as the primary technical resource to review and respond to all pre-sales design requirements from customers. You will also support the definition and development of new products based on feedback from the Sales team and customers. Job Responsibilities: Works with appropriate internal organizations (Engineering, Product, Planning and Network Operations) to develop and validate network designs Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements and expectations Works with Sales Executives in the preparation, delivery and review of sales and grant proposals, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), or Requests for Quote (RFQ) responses Designs data network solutions for customer applications, with alternatives based on customer-specific technical, environmental, and financial parameters Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost-benefit of purchasing company products or services Uses technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales Supports Sales plan through pre and post-sales technical consulting activities, including gaining an understanding of our customers' businesses and the analysis of our customers' communications networks Prepares network topologies, network drawings, and technical specifications, estimates build costs, and assists Sales with pricing Validates all service orders before being submitted for implementation and participates in kickoff meetings to ensure smooth service implementation Communicates customer feedback to Product Management for future product developments Qualification & Experience: Experience: 10+ years Master's Degree Experience: 7+ years Certified Professional Engineer (PE) Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) Bachelor's Degree Job Details: Company: FPL Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: West Palm Beach, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
