Job Description: KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Cloud Data Architect to join our Global Technology team which is part of the KPMG International organization. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the application architecture and deployment in a multi-cloud environment Develop KPMG's cloud data and analytic strategy Define data standards, data governance and compliance requirements Create the data and analytic capability on One Platform to enable developing and future proof new business demand Create cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, including data management, monitoring and big data developments Create and maintain required architecture and design documentation Qualification & Experience: Advanced knowledge of data architecture, standards and data governance in relational and nonrelational databases Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT Leadership, the business, developers and support staff Minimum ten years of recent experience in Database management, Data Analytics and Data warehousing, including cloud-native database and modern data warehouse Strong experience as primary technical leader on successful large application deployments with the ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft data platform (Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc.) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience Job Details: Company: KPMG US Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: New York, NY, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
