Job Description: As a Talent & Leadership Trainer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our colleagues in-line with our talent priorities. You will be responsible for arranging and delivering (end-to-end) our first-class training programmes (mostly ‘soft skills’) and a range of individual workshop sessions for our Store Support Centre colleagues. As Talent & Leadership Trainer, you will work closely with a number of important stakeholder groups driving continuous improvement of content design and delivery. Job Responsibilities: Share qualitative and quantitative insights with key stakeholders that will help detail the impact of sessions, the relevance of the topic areas for participants development and any possible skills-gaps Load courses/ cohorts onto myLearning or other systems as applicable Conduct post-training analysis of facilitation and training content effectiveness Facilitate our flagship manager development programmes (Leading@ Sainsbury’s) for colleagues at C4 and C5 who have line management responsibilities for the first time as well as newly promoted C6s Contribute to the broader leadership development team agenda, fully contributing towards any content updates/ design changes Build skills to debrief colleagues on psychometric assessments Plan the Store Support Centre learning calendar over a 6-month timeframe, taking insights from the Senior Talent Leads and Talent Delivery Consultants to understand requirements Deliver our skills boosts (focusing on specific behavioural areas, such as: personal brand; honest everyday conversation, owning my impact etc.) to colleagues up to C6 grade Review the efficacy of delivery skills through evaluation, achieving and maintaining high standards and sharing results and improvements regularly with stakeholders Organise and deliver webinar-style broadcasts, as well as interactive sessions Job Requirements: Experience of working with a HR systems (desirable) and being comfortable analysing and manipulating data Experience of maximising the use of technology for virtual delivery, such as MS Teams, zoom or WebEx Experience of delivery in, and understanding of, the retail context An understanding of best practice instructional design principles Understanding of how and why the 70/20/10 guidance applies to learning Experience in coaching and/ or mentoring (desirable, not essential) A confident and engaging style of facilitation with ability to challenge beliefs and behaviours Proven track record of high-quality delivery in virtual and in-person training across a range of audiences (incl. differing levels of seniority) An awareness of how different individuals learn and how to apply this flexibly to the delivery of training Excellent Microsoft office skills (predominantly Powerpoint, Word and Excel) Job Details: Company: Argos Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: London, England, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
